Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has left on a working visit to Kyiv, where he is scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, the website of the Ukrainian leader reported.

It is noted that Zelensky had invited Aliyev during their visit to Brussels.

During the meeting in Brussels, Zelensky asked Aliyev to help in the issue of the return of Ukrainians convicted in Russia. Also, the Ukrainian leader offered the president of Azerbaijan to hold a Kyiv - Ankara - Baku summit in Ukraine in February.

Zelensky also focused on the transport and logistics potential of cooperation between the countries, in particular the need to intensify work to implement the transit of goods along the route Europe-Caucasus-Asia using rail and sea transport.
