Relations between Iran and Russia have moved into a new, diverse, intensified course, said Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian following the meeting of the presidents of the two countries, which took place the day before in Moscow, Mehr reports.
During an important, cordial and hours-long meeting between Dr. Raisi and Putin in the Kremlin, relations between Tehran and Moscow went on a new, diverse and accelerated path, Amir-Abdollahian tweeted.
There will be excellent cooperation in the new chapter of the relationship, added a senior Iranian diplomat. The two presidents agreed to draw up a long-term roadmap.
Amir-Abdollahian concluded his post by saying that the future world system will be multilateral.
President Ebrahim Raisi, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Moscow on Wednesday at the official invitation of his Russian counterpart for a two-day state visit.
