There are programs to assist Armenia. They are, in particular, connected with the supply of the army with modern weapons and military equipment. Former secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, stated this during the Yerevan-Moscow videoconference on Tuesday.

According to him, all these programs will be implemented within the framework of the CSTO.

Bordyuzha recalled that many types of military equipment currently in the arsenal of the Armenian army were received from Russia as military aid free of charge.

"They were obtained also at preferential domestic prices, including through Russian loans," the former CSTO chief added.
