Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Hambardzum Matevosyan on Wednesday attended a workshop on summing up the results of the program for the establishment of the “HayLingvoTech” Centre of Excellence for Language and Educational Technologies.

This program is aimed at the development of technology-based education and research in Armenia.

"In order to make the science sector more competitive and appealing, to engage young staff, and to ensure progress in the sector, the [Armenian] government has increased funding for science by 85 percent in 2022 compared to 2021, and has increased the amount being allocated for science-themed research by 2.5 times. We have tangible progress also in increasing the salaries of researchers," deputy PM Matevosyan said, in particular, during his remarks at the aforementioned workshop.
