YEREVAN. – During his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan on Wednesday met with Jordanian Minister of Investment Khairy Amr .

The interlocutors presented the peculiarities of the investment climate in Jordan and Armenia, including the wide range of incentive mechanisms, the government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Jordanian official noted that the Armenia-Jordan business forum held in Yerevan in 2020 had aroused great interest among Jordanian investors. Also, Amr lauded the role of the Armenian community in Jordan in the development of the country.

The parties agreed to continue active cooperation in order to ensure the desired level of cooperation dynamics.

The Jordanian minister of investment announced his intention to visit Armenia in the near future—and with interested representatives of the business community.

Both sides highlighted such active cooperation.
