YEREVAN. – The seismological network of Armenia on Thursday recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 at the Armenia-Georgia border zone, at 4:13am local time, 15 kilometers northeast of Bavra village of Armenia’s Shirak Province, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The tremor measured magnitude 5 at the epicenter, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

The seismic activity was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, Tavshut, Metsavan, and Sarchapet villages of Shirak Province, and in Tashir town of Lori Province.

On the same day, the seismological network of Armenia recorded another earthquake, this time with a magnitude of 2.8 at the Armenia-Georgia border zone, at 5:21am local time, 14 kilometers northeast of Bavra village, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

This tremor measured magnitude 3 to 4 at the epicenter.

And it was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, and Ashotsk villages of Shirak Province, and in Paghaghbyur village of Lori Province.
