Italian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Alfonso Di Riso was injured in a car accident in Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, the car accident happened on Wednesday.

Mercedes and Audi with diplomatic plates collided at the intersection of Beirut and Lusavorich streets.

The ambassador was taken to Nairi Medical Center.
