US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the positive developments that we have seen in recent days and weeks in the South Caucasus, Department spokesman Ned Price noted.

The Secretary of State expressed readiness to assist efforts to delimit and demarcate the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He called for continued progress in the process of unblocking transport links and communications. He noted the importance of continuing the bilateral dialogue to address the challenges in the region.

The Secretary of State confirmed our support for the dialogue between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan with the mediation of the EU. He also reaffirmed the support of the United States both in a bilateral format and as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group to help Armenia and Azerbaijan achieve a long-term and comprehensive peace, Price added.
