Russia does not plan to proactively withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO), said the director of the department of international organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry Pyotr Ilyichev.

“No, about WHO I definitely say no. Russia will not go out on its own initiative,” he said, answering a relevant question.

There is no talk of closing the representative office of the World Health Organization in Russia, Ilyichev said.

“Nobody is talking about this,” he told TASS.
