Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a series of meetings with governmental and public figures, as well as business representatives at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the presidential press service informed NEWS.am.

Vahagn Khachaturyan introduced Armenia's development programs, as well as opportunities and prospects for cooperation.

The president briefly met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

During Khachaturian's meeting with the Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan, Masrour Barzani, the parties discussed the agenda of bilateral relations, the intensification of economic ties, and the increase of trade turnover.

The president also met with Naif Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf, secretary-general of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council, Alain Bejjani, general director of Carrefour hypermarket chain, and Shunichi Miyanaga, chairman of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries board.

During the World Economic Forum Vahagn Khachaturyan gave an interview to Deutsche Welle German Media Company presenting the reforms taking place in Armenia, the economic developments, as well as Armenia's position regarding the current and future developments in the region.
