The long-running enmity between two Armenian families in Apsheronsk, Russia ended in a murder right in the center of the city.

Kamo Eghoyan, 54, entered a cafe and killed, in front of everyone, a man who had come there to eat, НТВ reported.

Eghoyan shot the man sitting in front of a table.

Subsequently, a waitress of the cafe threw a chair at Eghoyan, after which a customer was able to catch him.

Investigators are now trying to find out the reasons for this murder. One of the respective theories is that the murder victim, Sergey Akobjanyan, 28, was aggressively demanding that Kamo Eghoyan's son repay his debt to him.

The enmity between these two Armenian families had started a long time ago, and Kamo Eghoyan's house was set on fire  a few hours before the murder. It is not known yet whether this was arson, but the 54-year-old father of the Eghoyan family took a gun and decided to put an end to the dispute between these two families.
