The secret ballot for the election of the new judges to the Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation of Armenia will be held Monday at the National Assembly. Voting will start at 3pm and conclude at 3:40pm.

In order to be elected a judge of the Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation, the candidate must receive 3/5 of the total number of votes of the MPs; that is, at least 64 votes.

The parliamentary opposition, however, has boycotted the work of the NA, and therefore will not take part in this secret ballot.

As reported earlier, the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia  has nominated Hrach Ayvazyan, Artak Zeynalyan, Liana Hakobyan, Artur Arakelyan, Ara Babayan, Artsrun Mirzoyan, Hakob Grigoryan, Kristine Mkoyan, and Artur Poghosyan for the vacant positions of judges of the Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.
