There is no coordinated work of prosecutors and investigators in Armenia, said the only candidate for Prosecutor Genera position, assistant to the prime minister of the republic Anna Vardapetyan.

She noted that there is also a lack of proper interaction at the level of cooperation with foreign law enforcement agencies.

"There are cases when the prosecutor and the investigator simply do not talk to each other, and the process turns into a huge document flow. As a result, the victim finds himself in a disadvantaged position," Vardapetyan added.

As a result, as the candidate noted, to figure it all out, the victim hires lawyers, spends money and either simply gets tired and stops defending his rights, or turns to the ECtHR.
