The US administration will soon provide Ukraine with another $800 million in security assistance, US President Joe Biden said.

The new aid package will include advanced air defense systems, anti-battery radars and additional munitions for the HIMARS highly mobile artillery missile systems that the administration has already sent to Ukraine, he said.

Biden said the package would be formally detailed by his administration in the coming days.

The latest aid round is part of a $40 billion security and economic aid package passed last month by the US Congress and signed by Biden.
