The result of the normalization of relations between Turkey and Israel may be the resumption of regular flights of Israeli airlines to Turkish territory after a 15-year break. In addition, Tel Aviv and Ankara will resume cooperation in the field of civil aviation, the Cumhuriyet newspaper reports.

According to the publication, the talks between the Israeli and Turkish sides, which are to be held on July 4, will also discuss an increase in the frequency of regular flights and the settlement of passenger safety issues.

Israeli airlines have not operated flights to Turkey since 2007, all this time air traffic between the two countries was carried out only from the Turkish side.
