Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Tehran on July 28, Anadolu reports.

Erdogan is expected to meet with senior Iranian officials to discuss bilateral cooperation and review the latest developments in the region and the world.

The day before, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that a trilateral meeting with Turkish and Azerbaijani colleagues would be held in Iran.

After visiting Ankara and meeting with President Erdogan, Amir-Abdollahian tweeted that Erdogan expressed hope that he would visit Tehran in the near future.
