A total of 792 children—406 boys, 386 girls—were born in the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) medical institutions in the first six months of this year, the Artsakh Ministry of Health informs Armenian News-NEWS.am

In addition, 15 children—8 boys, 7 girls—from Artsakh were born in the medical facilities of Armenia.

As a result, the total birth rate in Artsakh in the first six months of this year was 807 children—414 boys, 393 girls.

In the first half of 2021, a total of 593 children—270 boys, 323 girls—were born in the medical institutions of Artsakh; this means that the number of births in the same period this year has increased by almost 200—and future soldiers predominate among these babies.
