Twenty eight of the people who were injured as a result of the strong explosion that took place Sunday at the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan are receiving inpatient treatment. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about it from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that as of 11pm Sunday, 28 people have been discharged from hospitals, whereas 28 others are receiving inpatient treatment.

The rescuers took out ten injured, five dead bodies, and 21 vehicles from under the rubble.

Firefighting and search operations continue, and about 150 volunteers participate in these operations.

The death toll is six: Anahit Mkhitaryan, Misak Margaryan, Jemma Nazaryan, and Gayane Avetisyan, whereas the two other casualties have not been identified yet.

And as a result of the calls received by the 911 hotline, the following persons are considered missing in the area of the Surmalu shopping center:
