Within three days, 140 people asked for psychological services and 110 others—for first aid. Anna Yeghiazaryan, Secretary General of Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) , told reporters about this on Tuesday.

Yeghiazaryan noted, however, that the number of applicants has decreased.

"If in the previous days about 120 people had applied for psychological support, another 20 people applied during this night," she said.

According to Yeghiazaryan, mostly the relatives of the victims of Sunday’s powerful explosion at the Surmalu shopping market in Yerevan, as well as the rescuers are applying to ARCS.

"They work, they also could have problems; there are [blood] pressure, headache, burns," she said.
