As of 3:30pm Tuesday, the number of people who died in Sunday’s powerful blast at the Surmalu market in Yerevan is sixteen, and fourteen of them have been identified. Hayk Kostanyan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, wrote about this on Facebook.

"The number of missing people has turned 4 from 6, as the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia informed that their assumed missing citizen is currently in Georgia, and one of the assumed missing persons informed that he was not in the Surmalu area,” Kostanyan added.
