A woman in Tennessee was accused of murder because of a kiss with a prisoner, after which he died, the Daily Beast reported.

Rachel Dollard was taken into custody by special agents from the Tennessee Department of Corrections and the Dixon County Sheriff's Department. She is accused of drug smuggling. Dollard is charged with second-degree murder and smuggling into a penitentiary.

The charges follow the death of Joshua Brown, who was serving an 11-year sentence on drug-related charges. His sentence was due to expire in 2029.

During a visit in February, authorities allege that Dollard passed the drugs to Brown through a kiss. She allegedly hid half an ounce of methamphetamine in her mouth and was able to pass it to Brown through a kiss. He swallowed a ball of drugs but later died of an overdose at a local hospital.
