Turkey is ready to take under its patronage the reconstruction of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the UN Secretary General in Lviv, reports UNIAN.

"Very substantive talks on many topics held today with the president of Turkey. Thanks to Turkey for their willingness to take under their patronage the reconstruction of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region. This is a mission for a really powerful country. Today the first step was made - the agreement on infrastructure was signed", said Zelenskyy in a video message on his Telegram channel.

Speaking about the situation around the Zaporizhzhia NPP, he noted that "there are no objective obstacles for the IAEA mission not to get to the NPP." "Today we discussed with Mr. Guterres the parameters of this mission and the fact that it can very quickly and quite safely get to the plant legally through the free territory of our state. And that's the only way," he stated.
