Cooperation in a number of structures provides opportunities for Georgia and Armenia to take steps not only in the direction of the international transport corridor Black Sea-Persian Gulf, but also on other initiatives that provide hubbub, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in his speech on the occasion of the opening of the Friendship Bridge today. 

According to him, more active work, implementation of the reached agreements and the involvement of the interested parties and other interested parties will foster regional cooperation.

The Armenian Prime Minister pointed to the need to make additional efforts to facilitate cargo transportation with Georgia.

"In this context, I would like to emphasize the importance of expanding cooperation in the sphere of railway transport and ferry transportation," Pashinyan added.

He stated that Georgia plays a serious transit role for Armenia.
