An earthquake was registered in Van Province of Turkey, and it was felt both in the city of Van and in the regions.

A quake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred in the Gurpinar district of Van Province, Daily Sabah reported.

Although no devastation was recorded as a result of this tremor, the local residents are concerned because a devastating earthquake had hit Van 11 years ago, as a result of which many people had dies and hundreds of buildings had collapsed.
