Today's public administration system of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the political and social internal relations, unfortunately, do not enable to face—at least with the resources that exist today—the challenges that could have been provided before. Tigran Abrahamyan, an opposition MP of the National Assembly of Armenia and a security expert, stated about this during a discussion Monday—and entitled "The Real Agenda of Armenia."

"Today, I am not in a hurry to call the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia a 'corridor,' as I am not convinced that the 5-km buffer [zone] along that road is ensured.

Secondly, Azerbaijan continues to claim that the placement of checkpoints on that road is not finished, it is debatable for it. This is being linked to ensuring a corridor logic regime via Syunik Province [of Armenia]. But in this case, Armenia does not have the kind of authorities that can ensure the safety of that road; also, the appearance of Azerbaijani checkpoints on that road in the future," the opposition lawmaker emphasized.
