The management authority of the 100% state-participation shares of the company that was created to build the new building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Armenia will be transferred to the State Property Management Committee, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from e-draft.am.

The Urban Development Committee of Armenia has petitioned to the government with the aforesaid proposal.

Salsa Development company has a 100% state share and was established to carry out specific economic activities in order to build two administrative buildings.

This company is a subsidiary of Tango company—the buyer of the old MFA building—, whose owner is Argentinean Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian.

On March 5, 2013, the auction of the old MFA building took place, but to which no one showed up, and therefore the building—worth $51,271,000—was handed over to the buyer—Tango company.
