The fallen Armenian servicemen’s parents who were apprehended at Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan Wednesday morning have left the police stations. Lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan told about this to reporters today.

He added, however, that administrative reports on disobeying the legal request of the police was drawn up on all of them.

"We will fight against the reports. The police did not make any demands to them. The action carried out by my clients was strictly legal. Yerablur is the home of these people, and they have full right not to allow the person responsible—in their view—for the death of their sons to enter their home. Also, the police took—without justification—their cars out of this parking lot. Only after one of the parents filed a report about the abduction to the police, it turned out that the cars were moved," Hovhannisyan said.

As reported earlier, a huge police force has been concentrated at Yerablur Military Pantheon since early Wednesday morning. At some point, special police forces began dragging into custody the fallen soldiers’ parents, including the women, who had come there to prevent PM Pashinyan from visiting Yerablur on the occasion of the Independence Day anniversary.

Also, the police obstructed the work of reporters and cameramen by pushing them down from the part of the Yerablur church.

The police had reported that they apprehended 37 people at Yerablur Military Pantheon Wednesday morning.
