On Wednesday morning, the police officers performed their duties during the events held at Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan, during which people were brought to the police from this area. The Police of Armenia noted about this in a statement they released Wednesday afternoon.

"On the instructions of the Police Chief, these actions are being investigated, and the public will be informed about the results," the statement added, in particular.

As reported earlier, a huge police force has been concentrated at Yerablur Military Pantheon since early Wednesday morning. At some point, special police forces began dragging into custody the fallen soldiers’ parents, including the women, who had come there to prevent PM Nikol Pashinyan from visiting Yerablur on the occasion of the Independence Day anniversary.

Also, the police obstructed the work of reporters and cameramen by pushing them down from the part of the Yerablur church.

The police had reported that they apprehended 37 people at Yerablur Military Pantheon Wednesday morning.
