Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the government press service informed NEWS.am.

The two officials discussed various issues of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister, in particular, presented the details of Azerbaijan's large-scale military aggression against Armenia's sovereign territory, as well as its consequences. The Head of the Government stressed the importance of an adequate response of the international community, calling to condemn the actions of Azerbaijan. He also pointed to the need for the immediate withdrawal of Azerbaijani units from the sovereign territory of Armenia.

The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, in his turn, said that they are closely watching the developments on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and stressed the importance of solving regional problems through negotiations.

The interlocutors also touched upon further development of Armenian-Luxembourg relations.
