As a result of the school shooting in Izhevsk, according to the latest data, 13 people were killed, including nine children, 23 more people, including 20 children, were wounded, the head of UdmurtAlexander Brechalov said, reports RIA Novosti.

"Thirteen dead so far, nine of them children. Twenty-three were wounded, 20 of them children," Brechalov told reporters.

On Monday morning, an unidentified man fired a shot at school No. 88 in Izhevsk, after which he killed himself.

According to Brechalov, the shooter was registered at a psychoneurological dispensary.
