Armenia is looking for weapons in all those countries that can potentially meet its needs. Andranik Kocharyan, head of the parliamentary Standing Committee on Defense and Security and an MP of the ruling Civil Contract Party, said today in the National Assembly, commenting on the information about Indian arms deliveries.

According to him, India is among those countries. The deputy said Armenia will use all possible means and mechanisms to have these weapons delivered to the country.

Kocharyan was also asked to comment on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's controversial statement during a government meeting.

According to Pashinyan, Armenia's allies haven't fulfilled their obligations and haven't supplied the needed armament, though the preliminary order for several hundred million dollars was duly placed.

"Whenever it becomes necessary to open brackets, the authorities will do so. There is no such need yet," the parliamentarian stressed.
