Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that it is impossible to complete a special military operation without negotiations with Ukraine.

"No, you need two sides to negotiate. And you know that the Russian side has been a supporter of achieving the conditions that the Russian side demands by peaceful means. We will either wait for the positions to change, or we will wait for the new president of Ukraine to change his position in the interests of his people," the Kremlin representative said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed a ban on the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
