Ukrainian officials, including President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, did not like the vision of the world's richest man, Elon Musk, about the possibility of peace in Ukriane. Earlier, Musk initiated a Twitter poll proposing his "plan" for peace in Ukraine.

"This is highly likely to be the outcome in the end – just a question of how many die before then," Musk wrote, adding that another possible outcome could be nuclear war.

"Russia is doing partial mobilization. They go to full war mobilization if Crimea is at risk. Death on both sides will be devastating," Musk wrote hours later. "Russia has three times population of Ukraine, so victory for Ukraine is unlikely in total war. If you care about the people of Ukraine, seek peace."

Ukrainian officials went into hysterics over these assumptions.  Zelensky initiated his own Twitter poll, "Which @elonmusk do you like more?", offering two options, "One who supports Ukraine" and "One who supports Russia."

Ukraine's ambassador Andrij Melnyk undiplomatically told Musk to fuck off. "Fuck you ... that's my very diplomatic response to you, @elonmusk." Melnyk was Ukraine's ambassador to Germany, but left the post in September after a series of scandals.

One of Zelenskyy's advisers, Mykhailo Podolyak, offered Musk a Ukrainian version of the war's outcome, according to which Ukraine liberates its territories, including Crimea.

Adam Kinzinger (Republican, Illinois) called Musk's proposed plan "Pretty much the worst idea I’ve read.”

“The only way for peace is for Russia to be kicked out of Ukraine,"  Kinzinger wrote.
