During his visit to Armenia, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin told reporters Wednesday.
According to the Russian diplomat, Zas reported on the points that the Secretariat of the CSTO Joint Headquarters intends to formulate for discussion by the heads of member countries.

"I believe it’s about concrete steps that should practically demonstrate the organization's presence and role in the region," Kopirkin added.

To note, the CSTO's passive response to the recent Azerbaijani military aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia has brought forward the mistrust of both the Armenian authorities and the public towards this organization, and there are statements about the non-fulfillment of its direct obligations.
