Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said he was perplexed when he read the article by former Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian. His remarks camee at the National Assembly session during the governmental hour today, refuting the rumors that Armenia has verbal agreements with Azerbaijan besides the trilateral statement on Nagorno-Karabakh.

In his opinion, Oskanian's entire article is based on assumptions and hypotheses.

"We have repeatedly said that there are no agreements other than those written on paper," the foreign minister said.

He called these rumors an Azerbaijani narrative.

"The people spreading them give a pretext for new aggression on the part of Azerbaijan. They legitimize its ambitions and claims," the minister noted.

In this regard, he advised Oskanian to refrain from such statements in the future.
