Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan on October 21st and in the meeting of the CIS heads of government in Astana on October 28th, RIA Novosti reports.

"We are in constant contact with you. Since the beginning of the year, I think, we meet for the fifth time and by the end of October we will see each other twice more: at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan on October 21st and also at the meeting of the CIS Heads of Government in Astana on October 28th," Mishustin said during the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov on Thursday.

The Russian side, he noted, attaches great importance to transport cooperation, including as part of the North-South international corridor. "The new route is necessary to provide logistics chains, supplies of raw materials, components, finished products, strengthen connectivity between our countries and our neighbors in the region and, of course, to stimulate further growth of trade turnover," Mishustin said.
