Turkish President Recep Erdogan said he "sincerely believes" in the normalization of relations with Armenia, he said after meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the margins of the European Political Community summit in Prague.

"I sincerely believe that we can achieve our goal of complete normalization in our region on the basis of good neighborly relations," he said.

"Our meeting with Pashinian took place in a cordial atmosphere. During that meeting, some demands were made. On these demands we sent our special representatives and foreign ministers. After their meeting we will take steps in accordance with the result," he noted.

We note that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Erdogan met in Prague.

Pashinyan is accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Armenian special envoy on normalization of relations with Turkey, deputy parliament speaker Ruben Rubinyan and other officials.
