Head of the Israeli opposition party Likud and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program in its current form is beneficial not only to Iran but also to Russia, RIA Novosti reported.

In an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu said that if this nuclear deal is ever signed, it will bring "hundreds of billions of dollars not only to Iran but also to the coffers of Russia."

Netanyahu also stressed that tough sanctions should be imposed on Iran and those who advocate the lifting of sanctions.
