MPs of the ruling Civil Contract Party went on another "voyage" on Wednesday, the Zhoghovurd newspaper reported.

"According to our information, Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defense and Security Andranik Kocharyan and MP Vahagn Alexanyan left for Madrid, where they will take part in the annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Anna Grigoryan, deputy from "Armenia" bloc and member of the commission, will also depart for Madrid within the framework of that trip. But she will leave for Spain on Friday, unlike the members of the Civil Contract faction. If both Grigoryan, Kocharyan, and Alexanyan are to participate in the same sessions, then a logical question arises: why are they going to Madrid on different days?

The works with the participation of the deputies in the NATO Assembly will start on Saturday and before that there will be purely organizational works, for which the deputies simply have nothing to do.

What do we have? Deputies from the ruling party have left for Madrid several days prior to the start of the event to go on tour and "see the world", getting a daily allowance for this, and all at the expense of the state, because according to the order of Speaker Alen Simonyan, posted on the website of the National Assembly of Armenia, all the costs associated with the business trip are assigned to the state budget of Armenia," writes Zhoghovurd.
