Vahan Kerobyan, the economy minister of the Republic of Armenia (RA), attended—via video link—the third meeting of the Agro-Industrial Policy Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

"During the meeting, we discussed the current state, problems, and prospects of ensuring food security in the EEU, the level of provision of material and technical resources in the agricultural sector, ensuring a stable animal epidemic situation with regard to tannin in the EEU member countries.

In my speech, I noted that currently our government is taking measures towards intensification, industrialization, and increasing the volume of agricultural production. For this purpose, the 2020-2030 strategy of the main directions ensuring the economic development of the RA agricultural sector was adopted, in which the main priorities of the state in the agricultural policy are presented, the primary problems and the action plan for the implementation of the strategy are defined," Kerobyan wrote on Facebook.
