Azerbaijan's closure of the Lachin corridor would be an attack on Artsakh, striking and attacking Russian peacekeepers, Artsakh acting Foreign Minister David Babayan told NEWS.am.

"If Azerbaijan tries to close the Lachin corridor or tries to block the entry and exit of cars to Artsakh, it will have very grave consequences, including geopolitical ones.  This cannot be allowed to happen, because it will have very serious consequences. I do not think that all sides, the international community will be indifferent to all this. Violations of the ceasefire are periodic and are a consequence of Azerbaijan's Armenian-hating policy," Babayan said.
