A project to create a platform for jewelry sales is being worked out. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), former Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan said on Wednesday during video conference.

He didn't rule out that this project will be spread on the other countries of the Eurasian Union, but at first it's going to be Russia and Belarus. According to his assessment, the system is quite complicated. "It assumes that jewelry should comply with all agreements on the sale of jewelry, which are in force within the Eurasian Union," Sarkisian said.

The EDB representative explained that jewelry, which will already be in the marketplace for sale, should meet all necessary requirements of the Union. "We are working on the creation of a marketplace with the Belarusian and Russian parties to make it possible to sell jewelry to third countries.

Tigran Sargsyan admitted that only 10% of all initiated projects are successful.
