YEREVAN. – Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan received Catarina Bjorlin Hansen, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Regional Director for the Caucasus, Moldova, and Belarus.

The deputy PM emphasized the projects being implemented with the EBRD in key domains for Armenia, the latter’s government informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meeting, infrastructure development plans were discussed; in particular, the importance of preparations for the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran section of the North-South highway of Armenia was emphasized. In this context, the results of the respective feasibility study carried out by the EBRD were discussed.

Reference was made also to the small and medium-sized enterprise support programs being implemented by the EBRD with the commercial banks of Armenia—and within the framework of EU Economic and Investment Plan .

Thoughts were exchanged also on new possible domains of joint projects; especially those of regional significance were highlighted.
