YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan on Thursday met with Bogdan Aurescu, the Foreign Minister of Romania, within the framework of the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council in Poland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Issues on bilateral relations, possibilities of enhancing Armenian-Romanian cooperation on international platforms were discussed. Armenia-EU partnership was also touched upon.

Minister Mirzoyan briefed his counterpart on the recent developments concerning the normalization process of the Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Armenian side reiterated its commitment to the peace agenda, noting that Azerbaijan's warmongering statements and manifestations of the use of force and the threat of use of force are unacceptable and contradict the agreements reached.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Romania also touched upon the activities of the EU Monitoring Mission and the work carried out by the OSCE Needs Assessment Mission. The activities of the missions were highly appreciated.
