Iran's judiciary announced that four rioters convicted of links to Israel's Mossad intelligence service were executed early Sunday morning, IRNA reported.

A statement from the judiciary named the four convicted as Hossein Ordukhanzadeh, Shahin Imani Mahmoudabad, Milad Ashrafi Atbatan, and Manouchehr Shahbandi Bejandi.

The four men were arrested in June by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). A court later sentenced them to death for collaboration with the Zionist regime and kidnapping.

According to a previous IRGC statement, the group received instructions from Mossad officials on how to use assault rifles to kidnap people, receiving cryptocurrency in return.
