A fight broke out in the Grand National Assembly (Parliament) of Turkey between deputies during budget discussions, one of the parliamentarians was hospitalized with a head injury, Sputnik Turkey reports.

"On the second day of budget talks in the parliament's general assembly, tensions erupted. A verbal altercation between the deputies escalated into a conflict. Huseyin Ors, a member of the Iyi (Good Party) party, was hospitalized with a head injury sustained during the scuffle," the report said.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Haydar Akar, who chaired the session, suspended the session for 10 minutes after the dispute.
