The price of copper falls on Wednesday, trading data show. Weak trade statistics from the PRC are raising concerns about demand for the industrial metal.

March futures on copper on the Comex exchange fell by 0.5% to $3.803 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).

At the end of trading on the London Metal Exchange (LME) on Tuesday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months rose by 0.36% to 8,421.5 dollars, aluminum - declined by 0.56% to 2,508.5 dollars, zinc - rose by 0.96% to 3,156 dollars.
