The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran will sign a free trade zone agreement before the last decade of December 2022. The Tehran Times noted, citing the head of the Iranian negotiating group for the preparation of the agreement, Mir-Hadi Seyedi.

Mir-Hadi Seyedi, head of the Iranian negotiation group for the preparation of a free trade zone agreement between the EEU and Iran, reports that the agreement is expected to be signed by representatives of both sides in Tehran in the last days of the current Iranian calendar month of Azar, the agency reports.
