At Thursday's Cabinet meeting, the government of Armenia made a decision to dismiss Nazeli Baghdasaryan from the post of Governor of Shirak Province, and with another decision, Mushegh Muradyan was appointed to this position.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked Nazeli Baghdasaryan for her work.

And Mushegh Muradyan thanked for the trust and added: "I'm sure I'll live up to all your expectations. Thank you."

For many years, Muradyan served as the head of the audit department of the Shirak provincial hall. Previously, he held the position of director of Lake Arpi National Park.

Armenian News-NEWS.am had reported on Wednesday that Nazeli Baghdasaryan had submitted her resignation from the position of Governor of Shirak Province.
