Russia and Turkey have begun to discuss, at the expert level, the delicate issues of the security of the natural gas junction. Russian deputy foreign minister Oleg Syromolotov said this in an interview with TASS.

The diplomat reminded that the result of the respective joint efforts of Ankara and Moscow was the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to create a natural gas junction in Turkey.

"Currently, various aspects of the implementation of this concept, including delicate ones, are being discussed at the expert level," Syromolotov said.

According to him, the Russian side accepts with satisfaction the enthusiasm of the Turkish counterparts, and their constructive approach and desire for joint work.
